Where do I put the IP for ACALive in dTris 3? dTris 3 does not require a 2nd program or computer to run the ACALive software. dTris 3 send the data to the site automattically once you have checked Live Timing on display tab and the group has a codex and password set. dTris 3 updates the website on each update of the page so the site shows the latest data.
What happens if my race date is changed? If you race date is changed you can update your race details in the Live Timing Site. If you go to Admin then click on edit race. Type in your codex the system will automatically populate the information we have about your upcoming race. You will need to input the password we sent you with the registration email and then you can edit any of the infromation and click save. This will update our site. You can send data to a race which is currently not “Live” but users of the platform will not be able to see the race as occurring.
Our suggestion is to always update to the latest race information so that your attendies of the race can find the information quickly.
What is the file format for dTris 3 Excel? We have a pre-defined excel file which can be used for racer import. The file can be found on our website .
What happens if the wrong racer leaves the gate? If someone missed that the racer you have in dTris is not the racer who actualy left the gate you have two options:
- Let the racer run and leave a note for yourself that racer X & Y are switched. After the race you can edit both racers and put the correct times in for them
- If caught quick enough you can put the racer who should be on course in gate using F1 then click “Same Start” button which will swap who is in gate with who last left the gate. This will only work while the racer is still on course.
